EF Recovery and Taiga Compliance Announce New Partnership
Agreement will bring simplified personnel exclusion list screening to first responders across the country
GIG HARBOR, WA – EF Recovery, LLC (EFRecovery.com) and Taiga Compliance, LLC (TaigaHealth.com) have reached an agreement to bring the powerful Taiga Check™ exclusion screening service to first responders nationwide.
If they participate in Medicare or Medicaid programs, fire departments and other first responders are required to validate that their employees, officers and board members are not excluded, debarred or suspended from participation in government programs. This check, which should be done monthly as CMS updates its own list, can be challenging given the number of federal and state databases that must be reviewed. Using Taiga Compliance’s “Taiga Check” service, that process is greatly simplified.

Participants in the Taiga/EF Recovery program can upload a list of their employees, officers and board members after which the names are checked against excluded individuals lists from organizations such as the OIG, the Office of Medicaid Inspector General, the System for Awards Management, and the Office of Foreign Asset Control. Participants quickly see results from their search, and the entire process takes place in a highly secure, HIPAA-compliant, fully secure web environment.
